08:30-09:00 09:00-09:30 SESSION I – OFFSHORE WIND POLICY - LESSONS LEARNED AND LOOKING AHEAD 09:30-10:15 In this session, we will focus on the (development of) tendering procedures of the Dutch and the Portuguese government. What incentives are included for market parties, is it focused on price, what role does ecology, the grid connection, storage and maritime spatial planning play? SESSION II – INDUSTRY OVERLOOK ON THE PORTUGUESE OPPORTUNITY 10:15-11:15 Roundtable discussion on the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in the sector. We will explore the experiences, insights, and innovative strategies that shape the offshore wind industry. SESSION III – PORT INFRASTRUCTURES ENABLING OFFSHORE RENEWABLE ENERGIES AND HYDROGEN EXPANSION 11:45-13:00 In this session we will explore the key considerations, strategies, and innovations involved in upscaling port facilities to accommodate the demands of the offshore wind sector and the emerging hydrogen sector. SESSION IV – MITIGATING RISKS AND DEVELOPING SUPPLY CHAIN 14:00-15:15 From risk mitigation strategies to regulatory frameworks and project structuring, we will discuss the essential elements necessary to inspire confidence and attract capital for offshore renewable energy projects. SESSION V – SUSTAINABLE SEAS: A DEEP DIVE INTO OFFSHORE MULTI-USE 16:00-17:00 This session will explore the experiences, insights, and innovative strategies driving this sector while emphasizing the vital role of non-price criteria, including environmental sustainability, social equity, technological innovation, and community engagement, in the allocation of sea space for offshore wind projects.
